Going Green

Just how big a dent in climate change does this change to green servers make?

• Protecting 551 acres of forest for a year

All of our server providers REC's have been registered, verified, and retired from the market. This Renewable Energy Certificate purchase supports 4,009 MWh of electricity generation sourced from Texas wind farms. It prevents the emission of 3,117 metric tons of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed annually by protecting 708 acres of forest.
